The design firm Catalyst reached out to me to see if I'd be interested in working on an internal explainer video for PetSmart. PetSmart was going to be implementing the Afterpay service for its customers and wanted a short video to explain the process.
They had a script and were pretty flexible with the art direction but the budget was real slim. Who doesn't love a project with lots of creative freedom, the only problem was...after crunching the numbers, I'd have to get the video done, start to finish...in a week. Not a lot of time in the land of animation.
I put together a production schedule and we were off to the races. Given the tight schedule to get this one made, I'm really proud of the outcome and my partners at Catalyst were amazing with quick turnarounds on feedback and approvals. Shoutout to Steve, Dan, and Nicole!
