"THICK" is a Chicago-Style, deep-dish pizza food truck in Portland, Oregon. Growing up in the suburbs of the Windy City, I have a deep love for this kind of pie.
One day the Thick changed it's name to "Chicagoland" and I couldn't help but wonder if this was done to create more business? While a new name might help increase sales, I felt that the design and look of the business could be improved upon. Also, as far as names go, their main competitor is Via Chicago and changing to Chicagoland was a little too similar. Thick has a great ring to it and captures the visual essence of deep dish so well, it has to be Thick!
So I took it upon myself to re-imagine "Thick" and subject myself to hours of deep dish research!
