Joe "Quigley" Lawson is an independent contractor doing custom home renovation projects in Portland, Oregon. He contacted me about creating a logo for his business and after a conversation about his need and wants for his logo I got to work.
I was wary of creating something that was "construction" generic and wanted to capitalize on "Q" as you don't often get that letter to work with. In our chatting, and seeing Joe's home workshop the "custom" aspect of his work really came through. Additionally, he has amazing carpentry skills. I had drawn a measuring tape Q early in the process and there was something happening. From there, it was a matter of finding the right Q form and tuning everything up.
