The Burleson Boxers are a part of the Wild Wild West League, Texas Division. It is a four-team, wood bat baseball league based in Cleburne, Texas. The Boxers play all games at The Depot at Cleburne Station from June-August. Made up of collegiate athletes, the league gives them an opportunity to showcase their talents.
I was tasked with the creation of a fun, vintage-inspired mascot to represent the team. I needed to create the design of the mascot and deliver both a torso-only and a full-body version. Additionally, a type treatment was needed for the jerseys, and colors for the team needed to be established. This was done over a two-week period, with specific milestones and reviews along the way to keep the project on the rails.
